Eclectica "Rhapsody" (in blue) jewellery set. Because yes, I was listening to Gershwin whilst working on these. And it was very fine music :) This includes neckpiece, bracelets, ring, earrings and brooch. All are original mesh pieces, non-template based. Copiable and moddable. The metal and stones are seperate materials, so can be edited as seperate faces.
These are unscripted.
"Rhapsody" can be purchased at the Love Donna Flora Event until it closes, to help with Squinternet's medical bills. (They are modelled in one of her glorious frocks, which is a favourite of mine.)

Eclectica Flora Sunhat
This was going to be a set of hats, but it turned out to be just one; it's scripted to match all the colour choices of the Flora Jewellery and provides a full range of looks. Which makes it very flexible.
It can be white, pale straw, dark brown or black. It has a very cheery summery band in a variety of colours. It's flowers can be changed in two sets, allowing you multiple looks. Plus the little gems are able to add to this theme. If you aren't into colour, (and who is, every day!) plain black and white is an option too.
Below are just some of the looks possible.
There are two hats in every set- with and without the hair. So you can adapt your favourite hair to suit the hat, or just use the curly bobbed style if you prefer (or get stuck for time, which happens to us all). Ohh..the hair is also colour changeable. It has 5 basic hues; blonde, light brown, brunette, auburn and black. And of course you can manually tint these to make finer colour adjustments.
The hats are all copyable and moddable (with a no-mod script) so you can tweak any colours you like, or resize manually. Or resize via script if you prefer, right down to petite size if that's your thing. The script is also deletable.
You can buy this on the Marketplace right here. Or come visit the Eclectica Mainstore in Second Life right here, where a free demo version is also available.

Eclectica Flora

This is 'Flora', a vibrant addition to the range of accessories available in the Eclectica Store. These are beautifully and originally designed mesh pieces. They are inspired by a 1950's tropical beach/summer theme. The central rose is vividly hued, with soft shading. It is offset by clusters of softly glowing metal daisies, which are scattered quite naturally. Each set includes a necklace and pair of matching daisy earrings. It has a wide range of colour choices, all available via menu. Plus silver and gold metals are both included, in plain and engraved finishes. This one set may well match all your sun dresses and swimwear this Summer.

Here are a few colour combinations. The rose, metal, gems and leather band can be selected independantly.

These items are unrigged mesh, and so still modifiable, meaning that you can resize manually as well as by menu, and you may also tint the colours a little to help with colour matching. The colours are deliberately vivid, to allow you some room to tint them. The metals, rose, strap and gems are separate materials, so feel free to tint each face separately if you like. Adjustments can be made while standing on a pose stand and editing just like normal. And they are copiable.

These pieces will scale down to petite avatar sizes.

'Flora' can be found on the Marketplace, here. Or in the Eclectica Mainstore in Sinaburoe. A necklace demo can be found inworld at point of sale.

They are copy/mod, with a removable resizer. And mesh, unrigged, so you can certainly resize manually, or tweak the colours a little if you desire. I say that with every release, I know, but it's really important that you know you can do it. It really helps with getting a look just right. And lets face it, customising is half the fun of putting your look together.
Tweaking the colours of a mesh item is different to sculpts and prims. You can't use "edit linked prims", because this is all one prim in that regard, and can't be resized as different sections. Think of it as a prim with different sides, instead. When someone makes a mesh item, they elect what each side will be (they are called 'materials', and each will have a texture allotted to it). So, with these necklaces, the stones and metal are different sides. To select each one, treat it as a prim face, using "select face" and then you can control hue, glow and shine if you like to. Just know that you can't resize separate bits, or unlink. You can edit while wearing these pieces, unlike rigged mesh.
These will shrink to fit your petite or minikin. I can't help marvelling at how perfectly mesh shrinks, and how cute it looks so small. Or perhaps that's just me :)
As with everything, demos are available instore, here at Eclectica. Find them also on the Marketplace, if that is more convenient.

Eclectica 'Solaria' Hats

I have new hats, freshly minted out of the softest warmest mesh. These are designed to fit snugly in the traditional way of a 1920's cloche, and come in a range of vintage hues. You can in fact make these any colour you wish if you are handy with the edit menu, as the main body has been neutrally textured to allow plenty of scope for tinting. The colours shown on the packs are all included readymade, however, to get you started.
Each is accentuated with Art Deco detailing. A pretty crepe band wraps about each, held with a Deco sunburst motif made of metal and polished stone. The metal is scripted to switch to either silver or gold.
A simple bob hairstyle is included to save you the trouble of fitting hair. Or toggle it off if you'd prefer to adjust your favourite hair to fit. The hair is scripted to allow for 5 basic colours, from blonde to black, and since the item is mod/copy, you can also add your own tinting to get it just right.
The script, which is removable, will also resize for you. Or do it yourself manually if you like. These hats will resize down small enough to fit your petite or minikin avvy.
You can find these on the Marketplace. And free demos are available inworld.

Eclectica 'Flaunt'

Just a quickie, as I'm more busy designing and learning than remembering to blog, which is naughty of me, but probably not a bad thing all considered. 'Flaunt' will be released at the Hollywood Event in about a weeks time. It's one of those ideas that grew, and will continue to do so. A simple burlesque fan became gloves and pretty feathery bits, and begemmed glove tops. And then short gloves as well as long. Then some more complex glove details added for the halibut. Then a full on headdress and extra fluffy thingos. See what happens to me? I really enjoy designing when ideas get to roam a bit, and this one's been a while in the making, so it roamed.
There are 9 colour variations and each has texturechange options to allow some contrast with all the gems/feathers/metalwork. As usual, all is copy/mod friendly, and Marketplace Giftgiving will be available soon.
I hope to see you soon at Hollywood :)
